Planning a Cruise Vacation #5A: A Few Suggestions for 'Cruise Elegant' Outfits.

Men have it easy when it comes to dressing up: either you wear a suit, or a tuxedo. If you want to jazz-up a basic suit, men can wear a tailored dress shirt with cuff links and a beautiful tie, just like this guy does HERE:

Look how his tie matches his cuff links! SO NICE!

Besides, a basic, black, suit is something EVERY MAN SHOULD HAVE IN HIS WARDROBE. You can wear it to any sort of occasion, and it's always in style.

Women, on the other hand, have a variety of choices to consider when dressing up: separates? A suit? Mini dress? Cocktail length dress? Midi-length? Maxi? Full-on Evening Gown? You'll have to make those decisions for yourself, but please, for the love of all that is holy, DO NOT WEAR THIS - EVER:
No. Just...no.

Being that I am a plus-sized woman, here are some fabulous, plus -sized, options for 'Cruise Elegant' evenings:

I wear dresses like this all the time - granted the sleeves might be a bit warm...but still lovely and appropriate.

A bit 'full-on' - but lovely nonetheless

Cocktail length, formal maxi (not enough frou-frou to be a full-on gown) and a more casual maxi that  can be easily dressed up with accessories
